Sanur Village Festival 2009
The 4th Sanur Village Festival will be held on August 12-16 '2009. It is claimed to be bigger and better than ever with its theme, “Marine Life”. Most of the activities will be inspired from the marine life which reflects the very important element in Balinese life. Sanur Village Festival was at first initiated by the community of Sanur through Sanur Development Foundation to revive the tourism sector and to attract more tourists to visit this area and the island of Bali. Sanur is famous for its tranquil area and one of the main tourist destinations in Bali Eversince the first celebration of the Sanur Village Festival, this event has been considered as one of the annual tourist attractions. Cultural activities will still dominate this festival as well as water sports and the green program 'under water festival' with its coral reef plantation.
